Phenolic Surface Film is a resin impregnated paper overlay designed to improve the surface characterization of wood based panels used for applications such as concrete forming.
The Overlay is a self-bonding sheet that cures under heat and pressure. This overlay extends the life of plywood and other engineered wood based panels.
This manufactured material is fantastic for shop-built auxiliary tables, fences, jigs and fixtures. It is dimensionally stable and has protective surfaces that will stand up to the harsh wear and tear of your woodworking shop.

Glued together with exterior glue, the pine plies are sandwiched between a top and bottom layer of phenolic impregnated pine ply.

Production
Pinus Elliotis and Pinus Taeda species are used in production as raw material which are from our own reforestation; while drying is done in another company. A monthly production of 12.000m³ and sawn wood are available in: 2", 3", 4", 5" and 6" x 22mm, 38mm and 63mm. The ore preparation sector receives sawn wood 63mm thick as raw material to be used in the production of rugs (glued narrow and long pieces of wood) after being used in the plywood sector.
Before lamination, logs are prepared with a special cooking process which allows them to be used in two woodworking lathes with laminates of 2.60m each and capacity to produce 62,400m³(CBM) per year. These laminates are used as raw material for the production of multi laminated plywood which is produced in the greatest dimensions of 1,22m x 2,44m – all with marine glue (WBP). A monthly production of 5,400m³(CBM) is then exported to various continents and is used for several purposes in the civil construction and packaging sectors.

Durability and Maintenance
Durability
By following the specifications it's possible to reach a high durability. A minimum of 15 usages.
Maintenance
Use a humid(not wet) soft cloth to clean, wooden or plastic spatule, always use an unmoulder.
Phenolic Faced MultiPly can be machined with standard woodworking tools and has great screw holding capabilities.

With its attractive color this material could also be used in furniture construction where “toughness” is a requirement.
